IT Support Technician

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for providing technical support to employees, assisting with hardware, software, ERP (Sage X3) system issues, and supporting reporting needs. Experience with Crystal Reports and Computer System Validation (CSV) processes is highly desirable. Strong Excel skills are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to help desk requests via phone, email, or in person.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices).
- Assist users with Sage X3 ERP system navigation, access setup, and basic troubleshooting.
- Support Crystal Reports tasks, including running reports and assisting with minor report modifications.
- Assist with activities related to Computer System Validation (CSV) for new or updated systems.
- Install and update software applications.
- Set up and configure new user accounts, hardware, and ERP access.
- Maintain IT equipment inventory and asset tracking.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, VPN, printer connections).
- Follow established procedures for setup, troubleshooting, validation documentation, and problem resolution.
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for data tracking, reporting, and documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- 2 plus years of experience
- Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Exposure to ERP systems, Sage X3 experience is highly desirable.
- Experience or familiarity with Crystal Reports is highly desirable.
- Understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV) principles is a plus.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- On-site role with occasional remote troubleshooting.
- Lifting and moving IT equipment (up to 30 pounds).
